If you choose to save — to enable CruxIntel, share with colleagues, or access across devices — you set a passphrase. All encryption happens on your device before data is transmitted. The passphrase never leaves your computer. CruxChat cannot decrypt your saved data — no backdoor, no admin override, no exceptions. That's zero-knowledge architecture: even we can't read your data. Audio, transcripts, and summaries can each be saved or deleted independently.
